Shelhiel teams up with an eclectic cast of East and South East Asia’s rising producers to create an electrifying remix album of club-tested and dance floor approved tracks.

SUPERSTROBE, an epic Y2K pop album that not only showcased Shelhiel’s various talents as an artist but also his multicultural identity from his heritage using tri-lingual lyrics. Completely self produced, SUPERSTROBE tells a story of an angel, fallen from heaven to find love on earth through a combination of heartthrob pop lyrics, club-ready basslines, hypnotic soundscapes and slick futuristic sounds. Now, his inaugural EP has been fused with the HI-NRG elements of hyperpop, trance, tropical house, rave, club, techno and industrial energy for a whole new experience of SUPERSTROBE.

Not limited by geography, Shelhiel has brought together an impressive selection of remixers to re-envision Superstrobe. The SUPERSTROBE (Remixes) album is a fusion of Shelhiel’s Y2K pop elements, combined with prominent club sounds of East and South-East Asia.

The remixers include KONA (South Korea), Double Clapperz (Tokyo), Putochinomaricón (Taipei/Madrid), Larria (Saigon), rEmPiT g0dDe$$ (Kuala Lumpur), crwn (Manila), dot.jaime (Philippines), LONER (Manila), FAUXE (Singapore).

If there is ever a body of work that brings together pop and club music whilst showcasing the underrated electronic music scene of E&SE Asia, this remix album would be it.
