JD X is one of the core members of the London based event series/collective/music label Eastern Margins, which aims to create a physical space for Southeast/East Asian artists.

As a producer, he has previously released an ambient track on the Internet/Chengdu based label - Cloak. The track was featured on an experimental/ambient/noise compilation called "Clubless". His other more club-friendly track, "Air Bubbled", was released last year as the first track on Classical Trax's compilation "Architecture 2.0".
